R and S Hannah Foundation | Application Preview
The R and S Hannah Foundation is applying for government grants to support its Clean Hands Campaign, which promotes community health and wellness. The foundation will use the funding to install operational handwashing sinks in parks and public spaces, while also teaching proper handwashing techniques to individuals aged 3 to 99. The initiative aims to reduce the spread of harmful bacteria and viruses, enhancing overall community health. Funding will also cover additional sinks, educational materials, and training for community trainers.
Over the next five years, the foundation plans to employ 10 full-time staff to manage its outreach efforts and will allocate $20,000 annually for scholarships and grants. It projects a volunteer base of 40 to 50 individuals, including a special category for those seeking self-empowerment through scholarships. The foundation also runs youth initiatives for mentoring and educational support.
The foundation emphasizes its mission as a worthwhile investment, training future community leaders in various service careers like education, nursing, and emergency services. It prides itself on its transparency and commitment to serving the community’s needs.
The Clean Hands Campaign is uniquely positioned, as there are no direct competitors. The foundation invites others to replicate its efforts, believing that increased training outreach can benefit even more individuals. Its focus on empowering all ages—rather than just high school seniors or college students—sets it apart. The foundation's "ask grant" program supports learners of any age in acquiring necessary tools for their educational and career success.

Funding Usage
We will utilize the funding to promote Health and Wellness in the community using the Clean Hands Campaign. We set up operational sinks with running water and soap in parks, community events, and public forums and teach proper handwashing techniques to ages 3 to 99. By decreasing the spread of bacteria, viruses, and superbugs, we are increasing the health and wellbeing over all. Handwashing is the first line of defence. We will purchase more sinks and supplies, provide training for the trainers, marketing and educational materials and clean hands tools; decreasing the need to touch doors and other public touch areas

Self Identified Competition
our program is so unique, there are no competitors. However, we will gladly welcome any challengers who wish to duplicate our processes. More people can be reached if there are more trainers; trained to teach. We are focused on reaching the everyday man woman boy and girl and giving them the tools they need to reach their goal and be a productive, "give back" member of society. We are not just giving hand outs, but hand ups . We are empowering the whole man and instilling the value of serving others; in kind. Most educational foundations are merely focused on HS seniors or those attending university whereas we realize that education and career choices can occur at any age. Through our "ask grant" we empower and support students of all ages to obtain the equipment needed for success in their college or trade school programs
