Legacy Billiards | Application Preview
Legacy Billiards is seeking government grants to fund equipment purchases, startup capital, and facility buildout. The business aims to grow by hosting billiard leagues, including APA, BCA, TAP, UPL, and Fargo Rate League, positioning itself as the largest pool hall in San Jose.
The funding will enhance their capacity to attract additional tournaments and leagues, leveraging strong partnerships within the pool industry. Currently, Legacy Billiards faces only one competitor, which is significantly smaller, allowing Legacy to host a greater number of events.
Their competitive advantage lies in their size, with plans to feature 40 pool tables compared to the competitor's 20. This extensive setup enables them to accommodate larger events and more league play, making them a prime destination for billiard enthusiasts.

Business Plan
Growing the business through billiard leagues (APA, BCA, TAP, UPL, Fargo Rate League). Having the biggest location in all of SJ. With the partners we have in the pool industry we will be able to host more tournaments then any other pool hall and host multiple leagues out of are location.
-
Self Identified Competition
We only have one 1 competitor and they are half the size we will be which will allow us to host more tournaments and league play then they are able to. We are different because we will have the size and tables to host large events run by the leagues that the competitor is unable to do. We will have 40 pool tables which the competitor only has 20.
