Dukes junk recycling llc 82-0764778 | Government Grant Application

Dukes junk recycling llc | Application Preview

Dukes Junk Recycling LLC is applying for government grants to support the purchase of a new truck aimed at reducing operating costs, streamlining logistics, and expanding their service offerings. The business plans to increase its workforce by hiring additional drivers and opening more drop-off centers.

Dukes Junk Recycling has been operational and debt-free for three years, with a solid track record that includes investing $80,000 in new equipment, establishing a second location, and spending $15,000 on improvements in 2020.

The competition includes franchise junk hauling companies that struggle to match the quality of service provided by a local business. These competitors often do not offer upfront pricing or recycling services. Additionally, they face competition from a local landfill, which is described as uninviting and inconvenient for residents.

Dukes Junk Recycling’s competitive edge lies in its comprehensive recycling services. Unlike most junk removal companies that send the majority of collected materials to landfills, Dukes recycles around 80% of household junk. Their upfront pricing model has also resonated well with customers.

In terms of drop-off centers, the landfill is noted as unpleasant for residents, and other recycling centers make it burdensome for customers by requiring them to sort their materials. Dukes Junk Recycling provides a more user-friendly service, handling sorting and accepting a wider range of materials, including those that cannot be recycled, making the process easier and more efficient for customers.

  • Self Identified Competition

Our top junk hauling competitors are franchise companies that lack the same quality service as a local business. They also lack up front pricing and recycling services. Our drop-off center competition is the local landfill. This place is not residential friendly, muddy, smelly, and not conveniently located for the public. Our competitors usually only offer one specific service. Dump pick up service service: We offer a superior recycling service that the other junk pickup companies cant provide. The average junk removal company puts the majority of the material they handle in the landfill even if it can be recycled. We recycle roughly 80% of household junk. Also, our upfront pricing has been a big hit amongst customers. Drop-off center: Competitor 1( landfill) - Muddy, smelly , gross. The landfill is designed for industrial trash trucks & is a nightmare experience for the average resident. Also they have a $130 minimum. Competitor 2( other recycle centers) : the other recycle center in town require customers to sort and organize the material they bring. This is very time consuming & inconvenient for customers. Also, they only except a few listed materials making it very difficult to get rid off everything that a customer needs gone. We take all materials and do the sorting for the customer, as well as taking the trash that cant be recycled
