Glazed Expressions has two locations, both 30 minutes from Carlisle. They offer a large variety of Bisque (pottery ready to paint) Another competitor, Five Monkeys is a pottery store that is very similar and offer a large variety of Bisque. Our prime location is a major advantage. As pottery needs to be fired in a kiln after being painted, the convenience of picking up your masterpiece close to home is a significant benefit that we offer. You won't have to go out of your way to collect your finished piece, making the entire process hassle-free. Additionally, we have a vast collection of over a thousand ceramic molds. This allows us to produce our own "Bisque" (pottery ready to paint) at a fraction of the cost compared to other studios. While these molds are kept off-site, they are located only two blocks away from our studio. As a result, we can provide a wide variety of Bisque options for our customers to choose from. This ensures that you'll always find the perfect piece to paint. Unlike many other studios that order their Bisque, we have the advantage of having our own supply. This means that if you paint a beautiful piece and something unexpected happens to it, such as it breaking, we will have another one readily available. We understand how important it is for our customers to have access to replacements in a timely manner, and we take pride in being able to meet that demand.
