Andys Diner LLC 88-4229098 | Government Grant Application

Andys Diner LLC | Application Preview

Andys Diner LLC is seeking government grants primarily for working capital to sustain operations. The restaurant plans to expand its hours, introduce a car hop service, and start serving breakfast to enhance its offerings.

The owners emphasize the importance of the diner to their family and the community, demonstrating dedication through long work hours and a commitment to revenue growth. They believe that funding support is crucial for navigating the challenges of their first year in business.

In terms of competition, they face other local eateries, including two drive-ins and a nearby family-owned restaurant. However, they maintain a competitive advantage with their dine-in service, takeout, and delivery options, all within a warm, family-friendly environment. The presence of the owner on-site reinforces their commitment to customer satisfaction and service quality. The diner aims to continue being a beloved spot for the middle-class community.

  • Business Plan

Expand hours of operation, start car hop service, start breakfast. This business means everything to us. We are trying to do everything in our power to keep a float. We will continue to make improvements to bring in more revenue. One owner works 70 hours a week at the restaurant. The other owner has a full time job and still maintains the books, payroll, etc. This is a family owned business and provides a great service to the middle class. People love coming to our diner. We just need to get through this first year.

  • Self Identified Competition

Our top competitors are locally owned restaurants like ours. There are 2 other drive-ins in Kenosha, The Spot and Big Star. Both do not have inside dining as we have. Another family-owned restaurant is 1.3 miles away. The Daily Dose Cafe has table service but serves breakfast and lunch while we serve lunch and dinner. We offer dine in service, take out, and delivery through Doordash. We offer a friendly family environment. We provide good service with a smile on our face. The owner is always on the premises.
