Goddess Green LLC dba Kwench Juice Cafe | Application Preview

Goddess Green LLC, operating as Kwench Juice Cafe, is seeking government grants to support the startup costs, equipment purchases, and cash flow needs of the business. The immediate goal is to enhance operational efficiencies and establish standard practices, accompanied by thorough staff training. The owner aims to hire a general manager to help streamline operations, allowing for potential expansion into new markets, including plans for additional locations.

Kwench intends to diversify its menu to include salads, sandwiches, and gourmet toasts while focusing on effective marketing strategies and enhancing brand visibility through media collaboration. There are also aspirations to introduce catering services and mobile offerings, bringing the brand to local fairs and events.

The cafe addresses a clear demand for healthy, convenient food options in the market, presenting an alternative to fast food. The venture is poised to generate over $200,000 in its first year, highlighting its potential for scalability and community investment. While there are a few local cafes with similar offerings, Kwench distinguishes itself through a diverse juice and smoothie selection, particularly its customizable acai bowls. Moreover, the cafe doubles as a community art gallery, creating a unique experience for customers by showcasing local artists.

  • Business Plan

The immediate plan is to find opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and find exactly what works for our business and staff. From there build standard practices as well as properly train all of our staff. I would like to works towards hiring a general manager to offload some duties so I can look into expanding into other markets with a goal to open another location. I want to expand our menu offerings to include salads, sandwiches, and gourmet toasts. I want to place a strong focus on marketing and enhancing our personal brand through all media outlets which will entail working with a marketing consultant. There is a plan to grow through adding catering services and potentially going mobile. I'd love to bring kwench to local fairs and events. The market needs and wants an alternative to fast food. Customers want access to fresh, healthy, easily accessible on the go food and beverage options. Couple that with my intense desire to build generational wealth for my entire family along with an easily scalable business would be a great investment for a community conscious investor. We are on pace to gross over $200k over first year in business and we opened our doors in winter. I have a goal to open more locations.

  • Self Identified Competition

We don't have any direct competitors within downtown Amherst. There are some local cafés that have a few smoothie options and others that have some similar offerings but I wouldn't consider them competitors. Our closest competitor would be Pulse in Hadley. We have a large selection of raw juices and smoothies however our biggest selling item is our acai bowls. You can get it anyway you want it with no limitations on toppings or ingredients. We also turned our location into a community art gallery where we engage local artists to showcase their work so its a whole experience when you walk through our door.
