Somatic Alchemy | Application Preview
Somatic Alchemy is seeking government grants to support various initiatives, including education and training, book development, business expansion, and research. The business aims to transform the entrepreneurial landscape for creatives by emphasizing a unique approach that prioritizes creativity over traditional strategies.
Currently, Somatic Alchemy runs an online program for creative businesses and is in the process of writing a financially accessible book to serve as an entry point into its offerings. Additionally, the business features a podcast that complements the book's content and employs social media for outreach. Future plans include establishing a physical location and hosting in-person retreats focused on business growth.
The justification for funding centers on the founder's innovative approach and tools that challenge conventional business norms, aiming to empower creative entrepreneurs. Unlike traditional competitors, Somatic Alchemy’s perspective fosters a supportive environment, encouraging risk-taking and embracing failure as part of the growth process. This distinctive approach positions the business as a leader in reshaping how creatives engage with entrepreneurship.

Business Plan
My business is a revolution of the ways that Creatives do business. It's a movement and requires large mechanical movements to support its growth; I currently and will continue to run an online program for creative businesses, I'm writing a book (thus part of the grant) which is a financially accessible entry point into my business, I have a podcast that further expands the material found within the book, and I utilize the medium of social media for communication. I plan to build a new brick and mortar and accept clients within the next 5 years and I host in-person business and growth retreats. Investors should invest in me because I bring a unique set of somatic and change-making tools and perspectives and I operate from a creative standpoint vs a strategic one. Old school business strategies are squeezing the life out of creative entrepreneurs and this world needs their talents and changemaking innovation. My business is revolutionizing the ways Creatives do businesses.

Self Identified Competition
My business is unique; there aren't many others like me. "Make Art Not Content": Father Bronques helps artists get out of their own way so that they can create mission-driven art. author Kate Northrup teaches women to run business in sync with their cycles and author and owner of The School of Womanly Arts, Regina Thomashauer, teaches women to run their lives via pleasure and desire. Elyna Paisais runs a business mentoring Not quite aligned but competitors none-the-less: any "how to" business books/ theories/modalities. Anything "how-to business": Honestly, I believe in all of these "competitors" and they should all be funded. I'm not a "safe bet". I'm a risk taker. Which is what it takes to make great change. I am different because I'm not afraid of failure and in the realm of business expansion and individual to collective healing, I am always willing to go first.
