Prefered Remodeling and Renovation Group LLC | Application Preview
Prefered Remodeling and Renovation Group LLC is seeking government grants to enhance its operations and promote sustainable practices. The funding will be allocated towards upgrading tools to more eco-friendly options, such as electric machinery, and conducting thorough vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and reliability. Additionally, funds will be used for acquiring public safety equipment and improving marketing efforts to establish a stronger online presence, which is essential for reaching more clients as a small, family-owned business.
The business plans to foster growth by sponsoring and attending youth job expos, targeting young people in trade careers. At 21 years old, the owner aims to address the lack of resources available for youth interested in starting their own businesses in the trades. Their commitment is rooted in a family background in construction, promoting the importance of quality workmanship and integrity.
The owner emphasizes a dedication to high standards and personal accountability in work, believing this approach sets the company apart from competitors. Local contractors are the main competition, but Prefered Remodeling's competitive edge lies in exceptional customer service. The company prides itself on being responsive and approachable, ensuring that clients feel valued and respected throughout the entire process.

Funding Usage
The funding would be used to upgrade our tools, to more eco-friendly options (exp. gas machines to electric if available), providing in-depth vehicle maintenance jobs to allow our vehicles to be more presentable, safe, and reliable to allow us and others around us to feel more safe and comfotable (exp. engine work needed to continue use of good vehicles instead of junking/sitting). We also would like to acquire more public safety equipment and upgrade our old safely equipment (exp. larger cones, brighter signs, ect). Lastly we would like to acquire a more marketing for an online presence. We are small and family owned so this is a large expense we struggle to justify to help reach more clients.

Business Plan
I plan to grow the business by sponsoring and attending youth job expos, and job expos. I myself am 21 years old, and found it very shocking how little information there is for young people to start their own businesses in the trades. My father is in the trades, and he was my main reason to strive for my dreams. I believe targeting the youth in and out of college after high school could both provide experience for them, and help support and grow my company in the community. I plan to grow with our future. I believe Investors should invest in me/my company for various reasons, but one I believe is the most imortant. I think there is a lack of pride in todays youth, and the trades. Everyone seems to believe cutting corners (especially in construction) helps them get ahead with time and money. I was raised on "Do it once, Do it right", and I live by that. In everything I do, whether at work, or talking to friends and family, to do things as if your name is seen on it every time someone looks at it, because it is. When we work with and for people I try to remind them that your name is all you are so you better make it your best.

Self Identified Competition
Our biggest competitors are just local contractors in our area, guys that work under their names. Our biggest difference from every single one of our competitors is our customer service. I wanted to make a company that would be known to always pick up, always respond, and always reach out. We are never too busy for your calls, never to busy to gain your trust, and never to busy to be kind and respectful to homeowners just trying to get something fixed, or make themselves happier in their house. I like to say we bring apple care customer service to construction, sometimes it can be considered to much, nut we will always be there.
