Tyler Marks Construction LLC | Application Preview
Tyler Marks Construction LLC is seeking government grants to support several crucial areas of their business, including vehicle repairs, insurance renewals, new tools such as an air nailer and air compressor, hoses, ladders, and initial startup costs.
The business plan emphasizes building a strong foundation to eventually employ 1-3 motivated individuals, targeting the often-overlooked smaller repair jobs in the construction industry. Tyler aims to establish a reputation for responsiveness and reliability, focusing on minor repairs that larger contractors might neglect, while being sensitive to the economic challenges faced by homeowners.
The application highlights Tyler's 15 years of experience in the construction trade and notes the rising demand for skilled trades amid a shortage of skilled workers. By creating a sustainable company, Tyler hopes to contribute to the local economy and provide opportunities for future generations.
Tyler identifies a gap in the market, having subcontracted for a larger construction firm that tended to overlook smaller jobs. He believes there is a significant opportunity for a handyman service that focuses on tasks like bathroom remodels and other odd jobs.
The competitive edge lies in Tyler's commitment to detail and community service. He aims to offer fair fees and high-quality work without hidden terms, positioning his company as a trustworthy option for homeowners who may not have access to resources found in wealthier neighborhoods.

Business Plan
I Would like to eventually have a solid groundwork to where I could employ 1-3 motivated people to help my business grow. Big construction is everywhere yet small jobs are over looked. I would like to make a reputation for being responsive and reliable to all people that need minor repairs commonly overlooked by most contactors. I want to be a fair and honest company considerate to the economic struggles of homeowners. I have 15 years of experience in this trade. Young Americans are more likely to go into technical jobs these days. Skilled Tradesmen are becoming scarce. In years to come the demand for Trades will grow and the ability to meet these demands will decline. I would like the chance to create a lasting company that can help the local revenue stream, while also creating generational opportunity for my children and theirs after.

Self Identified Competition
I Subcontracted for Josh Ries Construction, and I realized he was a big job seeker. Obviously avoiding and dismissing smaller jobs that he could not over charge for. There is not really any Handyman service to take on small jobs like Bathroom remodels and odd jobs. I care about the details, It would be a defining trait of my company to help the small community and homeowners that do not have the resources the gated communities in my area have. To be known for my fair fees for fair, honest, quality work with no fine print.
