Brooks Basketball Training LLC | Application Preview
Brooks Basketball Training LLC is seeking government grant funding primarily to secure a larger facility that can accommodate at least half of a basketball court and provide dedicated space for client meetings and safe recreational areas for kids. The goal is to create a supportive environment where young individuals can engage in tutoring, life workshops, and various classes aimed at personal development, reflecting the safe space the owner lacked during their youth. Additionally, funding will be allocated for a larger vehicle to transport kids to training sessions.
The business plan includes expanding training services throughout Los Angeles and hiring staff to support this growth. There are aspirations to establish a nonprofit to help fund youth sports participation for underprivileged children and to develop a scholarship program. Plans also include forming a competitive travel basketball team, alongside offering workshops and educational opportunities.
The reason for grant approval lies in the unique experience Brooks Basketball Training aims to provide—creating a safe haven for kids to thrive, away from various societal threats. The vision is to transform the training facility into a community center where children can enjoy themselves while being responsible.
The owner expresses confidence in their market position, claiming no direct competition, with a unique focus on the holistic development of youth rather than just basketball. The commitment to emphasizing life lessons alongside sports sets Brooks Basketball Training apart from traditional youth athletic programs.

Funding Usage
Most importantly funding would be used to try to buy/rent a bigger place where I can do my training. For that I would need space for at least half of a basketball court. I would also like to have space for my clients to have "office hours". I would like the kids to have a place where they can simply hang out and stay safe. I plan on having various tutoring sessions, life workshops and classes that will help them in life. I want to give them a safe space that wasn't available to me as a youth. I would also need to purchase a bigger car so I can have to the opportunity to pick up kids when I have to.

Business Plan
My plan would be to be able to expand my training throughout all of Los Angeles. I would eventually hire employees to help me achieve this goal. Also would like to start a non profit in order to help raise funds to sponsor kids who can't afford to play youth sports as well as start a scholarship fund. I also want to start a competitive travel basketball team. Would like to have workshops, life classes and tutoring available to kids. I believe that investors should invest because I like to think I am proving an experience that isn't available and hasn't been available. I want to create this place where kids are safe from all threats whether in the streets or even at home. Want to provide a space where kids can be themselves and have fun all while getting their responsibilities done. I want Brooks Basketball Training to be looked at as a community center and hangout spot with the emphasis on keeping our youth safe.

Self Identified Competition
I do not feel I have any competition or at least I haven't found any. The difference in any competition I would have would be that I want to focus on the kid's lives. What Ive noticed in youth amateur basketball is that the emphasis isn't on the kids. Life is more than basketball and I want to be able to show the kids that.
