Back2Life Massage and Bodywork LLC | Application Preview

Back2Life Massage and Bodywork LLC is seeking government grants to support its growth and community impact. The total funding request is $11,000, allocated for various essential purposes.

Key expenditures include $3,000 to purchase a client list from a previous job to establish a solid clientele base, $2,000 for a hydraulic massage table and room supplies, and $1,800 to pay off business credit card debt. Additionally, $3,000 will create a sliding fee scale to provide discounted medical massage services to qualifying individuals, and $200 will be used for advertising to attract new clients.

The business plans to expand its offerings through virtual services such as workshops and webinars, focusing on skill-sharing and coaching. There is also an initiative to prepare a training series for Medical Massage Therapists showcasing effective protocols.

The applicant emphasizes a strong work ethic and commitment to continuing education, demonstrating potential for community impact as a newly established business.

In terms of competition, the primary challenges come from local physical therapists and chiropractors. However, the applicant positions themselves as a leading practitioner of medical massage in the area, offering services at a lower price point without compromising on care plans. The applicant highlights their commitment to client support beyond treatment sessions, which leads to lasting results and attracts clients from competitors.

  • Funding Usage

$3000.00 purchase my book of massage clientele from my previous job to get off to a good start. $2000.00 purchase a hydraulic table and massage room supplies. $1800.00 pay off my credit card from charges for my business. $3000.00 create a sliding fee scale, helping women or men who qualify to receive Medical Massage services at a rate as low as 50%. $200.00 fund ads for potential new clients and spread the word about my mission.

  • Business Plan

I plan to expand into virtual services including workshops and webinars teaching the skills that I've gained. Other virtual services such as coaching and energy healing. I am currently working on a series for Medical Massage Therapists to teach them my most successful protocol. I not only pride myself on my work ethic but my love for education. I have went above my licensure for continuing education in several key areas that have and will continue to grow my reach. I am a newly formed business with so much potential to make an impact in my community.

  • Self Identified Competition

Physical Therapists because, there is no massage like medical massage and I am the leading practitioner in my area. The only other Medical Massage therapist in my area charges twice what I do with no concise care plan. Chiropractors - they are more an asset than competition but they offer packages on 12 to 40 sessions. I gain success in as little as 8 to 10 sessions. This is a big selling point. ( I do have a successful client retention plan after clients go through the initial protocol). I go the extra mile for my clients and it counts. I offer support to them beyond the table. I am able to attain results that last longer. I often get clients from my competitors seeking alternatives because all else has failed.
