    Being a small minority business owner, I would put funds toward marketing to to increase my exposure to the general public and attract new customers. I would like to provide some type of promotional marketing products to also attract customers. I would invest in new hardware, office equipment and office materials to provide a more appealing image to my clients and to stay current with technology. I would hire a permanent part time Office Clerk. Last but not least, I would like to provide a training seminar instead of just on-the-job training which would help me be more productive and also grow my business.

    I plan to grow my business in the next 5 years by investing in marketing tools to attract more customers, investing in current office technology to stay current with office trends and adding more revenue streams to my office such as notary service and virtual mail services. I would invest in all areas that would help me to expand and grow my business successfully. I would like investors to provide assistance to me because I have the desire and will to grown my business and attract new customers and that means I will continue to improve my services and remaining competitive in the tax industry and come up with creative and in-expensive ways to be able to give back to the community. My business vision has helped me to.stay focused and be successful for the past 20 years and I think an investment would help me to overcome my current financial obstacles and allow me to grow my business.

I would say people tend to lean towards larger companies with longevity and marketing strategies to attract more customers, though smaller businesses like myself provide the same services and same professionalism. The IRS free file method is now dampening our efforts and hurting really the small businesses who depend on our returning clients year after year, with inflation and the economy, who doesn't want free deals. My customer service, my love for helping my clients and my honesty, integrity, and professionalism has continued to set me apart from my competitors over the years. Because of this, my clients return year after year. I do not compare myself with others because I know what I am capable of accomplishing, and my clients know I provide support whenever needed, my doors do not close after tax season. I run a transparent office and have always done so, my customers know where every fee is going, the refund process is accurate, my words are truth and not sugar-coated, and they know what to expect, and that's my brand and I stand on that! I truly love this profession and my customers know they are always first!
