Capital Area Supervised Parenting, Inc. | Application Preview
Capital Area Supervised Parenting, Inc. is seeking government grants to help finance supervised parenting services for individuals unable to afford them. The funding will primarily support payments to 1099 workers who will conduct the supervision.
The applicant emphasizes a clear need for such services in the area, noting the absence of any existing supervised parenting programs. Conversations with court clerks have been positive, and there is optimism that judges will support the initiative if cost barriers are addressed. Without grant funding, many families will find the service too expensive, but the grant has the potential to meet this critical need within local Family Courts.
The applicant has a strong entrepreneurial background, having successfully operated a law office for over 30 years and launched a real estate investment business in 2013, demonstrating a proven ability to manage and grow ventures. Currently, there are no local competitors offering supervised parenting services, as previous providers have ceased operations post-COVID. The applicant considers their determination and proactive approach to be key strengths, positioning them advantageously in this underserved market.

Business Plan
There are no supervised parenting programs in the area, and the need is there. I have spoken with the court clerks and explained the program. They are excited about the program. and I am sure the Judges would recommend it, but for the cost. Without a grant, the cost is prohibitive to many individuals, but if awarded a grant, the service will take off as i see the need in local Family Courts where I practice. Investors should invest in me since i have a proven track record of opening successful businesses. In 1992 I quit my job as an associate attorney and opened my own law office. I have now been a sole practitioner for 32 years. In 2013 I started Esquire Properties of Troy, Inc., which is involved in real estate investment. I have successfully renovated and sold over 15 houses, while running my law practice at the same time.

Self Identified Competition
At the present time there are no other supervised parenting providers in the area. Prior to COVID there were numerous. but they are no longer offering the service. I have a reputation as being a "go-getter". I am willing to take the chance when others are not.
