Reese’s rainbow mobile pet salon 018161775 | Government Grant Application

Reese’s rainbow mobile pet salon | Application Preview

Reese's Rainbow Mobile Pet Salon is seeking $8,000 in government funding to address outstanding state and federal taxes and to cover insurance expenses. This financial support will allow the business to hire additional staff, generating more revenue and helping to reduce unemployment in the Oregon area.

The salon currently has a waiting list of clients but cannot expand its workforce due to financial constraints. Once debts are settled, the business plans to add at least five new jobs in the Portland and Gresham regions within the year, with the potential to hire ten more staff in the following year, across various roles.

The owner, a community-minded entrepreneur, has successfully operated a prior business and actively contributes to local initiatives. They emphasize responsible use of funds strictly for paying debts and investing in future growth.

The salon faces competition from Ruff Roads Mobile Grooming, which has a longer history and broader reach. However, Reese's Rainbow distinguishes itself by specializing in the care of pets with special needs, offering compassionate services that resonate deeply with clients. The business has a strong community presence and a commitment to animal welfare, leading to strong customer loyalty and emotional connections.

  • Funding Usage

We are asking for the help of 8,000 to help us pay our state and federal taxes and to help cover insurance for a couple of months so that we are able to hire more and generate more revenue. Once we pay what we owe, we are ready to hire and get the people of Oregon back to work!

  • Business Plan

We are in a position where we have clients on a waiting list to be serviced. We are extremely busy but are unfortunately not in a position to hire anymore help because of back taxes. We don’t feel confident moving forward with hiring people until our debts are paid. We are more than excited to be able to offer at least 5 new Jobs to the Portland and Gresham area within this year if debts are paid. Next year we are in prospective to be able to hire 10 new people including but not limited to office workers, field workers, repair workers and staff managers. This is my second business that has generated revenue at the tender age of 29. I have been doing this business for 8 years and found great success at my first location. I am a proud and active member of the community’. I have children and I am teaching them how to work hard and reach their goals. I would never abuse this opportunity and would only use the money to solely pay back what I owe and invest in the future of this company.

  • Self Identified Competition

Ruff roads mobile grooming is a company that has been around longer than us and has also expanded more than us. We look forward to reaching their level of achievement. They are the main and only real competitors that we have at this time. No other company has made such an impact in such a small time frame the way that we have. We specialize in anxious, aggressive, sick, disabled, blind, deaf, etc doggies. A lot of the times the owners of the pets usually have something going on with them as well. We have volunteered at shelters and tried to help raise awareness of breeding and selling animals. We have so much love and heart to put into this company and these animals. All of our clients are moved by our story and some of the clients are left in tears because nobody else was able to groom their dog except us. We have good energy, good hearts and pets of our own.
