Golden Prescription | Application Preview
Golden Prescription is seeking government grants to fund significant business expansion. The goal is to elevate the customer experience by acquiring new equipment, including a fifth-wheel trailer, a dually truck, saunas, meditation chairs, and anti-gravity massage chairs. This expansion supports partnerships with the Veteran Yoga Project, enhancing services for military personnel and first responders, particularly in VA clinics that lack essential supplies and furnishings. Additionally, the funding will facilitate hiring more staff, creating jobs, and increasing service offerings.
Over the next five years, Golden Prescription aims to evolve from a mobile yoga studio to a more comprehensive wellness provider. Plans include enhancing mobile operations with additional fifth-wheel units and launching a mobile meditation center on a yacht. Future ambitions extend to establishing a brick-and-mortar location that features a hotel and bowling alley, creating a full wellness retreat.
The request for funding is underscored by the robust growth of the global spa market, which was valued at $95 billion in 2021 and is projected to reach $185.5 billion by 2030. With over 15 years of healthcare experience, a Google project manager certification, and a Master’s Degree in Health Care Management, the applicant believes that the investment will yield a strong return and foster community economic growth.
In terms of competition, Golden Prescription faces three primary competitors: The Spa at Sea Island, Island Day Spa, and Zen Massage Studio. While these competitors provide spa services in a traditional setting, Golden Prescription’s mobile approach offers unique advantages, such as personalized experiences delivered directly to customers. The business emphasizes its competitive edge by focusing on personalized wellness experiences, especially in a post-COVID environment where individualized service is increasingly sought after.

Funding Usage
We are currently looking to expand the business in order to take the business to the next level. As with most small business we lack the cash or capital to keep up with the needs of our customers. The expansion will result in the purchase of new equipment such as a 5th wheel and a dually to have the full spa experience for our customers as well as saunas, meditation chairs and anti gravity massage chairs. This will also allow for Golden RX to partner and volunteer more with the Veteran Yoga project and provide more services to military and first responders. Volunteering within VA clinics many do not have supplies nor the proper chairs to perform services effectively and this funding will allow for the investment of these supplies. We also want to hire additional personal in order to offer more services and provide more jobs within the community.

Business Plan
Within the next 5 years Golden RX will continue to grow. We have outgrown our current practice of a mobile yoga studio and from our volunteer endeavors, we want to expand to meet the needs of our customers as well as government contracts. This expansion will be met with the addition of more 5th wheels , and then we plan on keeping the mobile theme with a mobile meditation center on a boat/yacht. We would then like to expand to purchase a brick and mortar location, that has additional features such as a hotel and bowling alley to provide a full wellness retreat. Investors should invest in Golden RX because the global Spa market in 2021 was valued at $95 Billion and is projected to reach $185.5 billion by the year 2030. The burgeoning wellness industry, coupled with the increasing consumer demand for self-care experiences, has rendered spa businesses a popular and lucrative option. This, in turn, allows entrepreneurs to capitalize on a booming market and to cater to the evolving needs of customers seeking respite from their hectic lives. I have over 15 years of experience within the health care system. A google project manager certification, as well as a Masters Degree in Health Care management. With the right resources this is a sound business decision that will guarantee a return on your investment as well as will increase the economy and continue to provide jobs as we expand and grow.

Self Identified Competition
The top three competitors within the area are as follows: The Spa at Sea Island, Island Day Spa and Zen Massage Studio. All of the business have tapped into the global spa business and understands the target market but lack the mobility that has ben incorporated into Global RX. The Spa at Sea Island has the entire resort feel and attracts tourist from all over the world. Island Day Spa does not have a resort attached but attracts tourist and some local customers. The Zen Massage studio, provides a more personal fell but lack the extent of services that we offer. We offer the entire wellness option, that continues once you finish receiving services. My business is different from my competitors because we provide our customers with the Balance they Crave. We provide an experience that they continue to take with them. After Covid, the group spa experience is still popular but many individuals crave a more personalized experience. We personalize the experience even more by bringing the spa to your front door, or even your yoga experience. We use state of the art technology to bring wellness to you and to combat the work life imbalance,
