Keep It Green LLC is applying for government grants to expand its operations and better serve a growing client base. The funding will be used to purchase larger equipment for bigger projects and upgrade a truck with a snowplow to maintain year-round services. This expansion will also facilitate hiring more staff, contributing positively to the local economy.
The business plan outlines a five-year strategy focused on networking with contractors and builders in the Colorado Springs area to stabilize contracts over three or more years. Keep It Green LLC utilizes social media marketing and local flyers to attract clients, boasting a 10% callback rate that leads to new jobs. They have experienced significant growth but have previously turned away work due to staffing limitations.
The company prides itself on delivering high-quality service and fostering strong customer relationships, which results in repeat business and referrals. Keep It Green LLC plans to partner with staffing agencies to ensure they hire qualified professionals to support their expansion into surrounding cities.
The funding request emphasizes the company’s commitment to building a positive community presence and creating over 50 year-round jobs. They recognize that lawn care and landscaping services remain essential, which will ensure their continued relevance.
In terms of competition, Keep It Green LLC focuses on its own work rather than its competitors, with companies like TruGreen and JB Landscaping being notable in the area. Their competitive edge lies in their ability to provide personalized service and quick response times that larger companies cannot match. The family-owned nature of the business adds a personal touch to their projects, reflecting their passion for the industry.

Business Plan
Our 5 year plan consist of meeting more contractors and builders in the Colorado springs area as we are having a unbelievable amount of growth. So the plan is to stabilize our contracts over the course of a minimum of 3+ years . We have social media networking and ads running on multiple sites and continue with our ads and we pass physical flyers throughout the neighborhoods and have roughly a 10% in call backs which resulted in new jobs. We provide flawless service and have had to turn down clients in the past for not having enough employees . All that has changed as we focus on the bigger picture of lawn care and landscaping and will expand to surrounding cities. We will use staffing agencies to ensure we have professional hires . We share close relationships with our customers and give them a sense of comfort and trust which sets up or repeat service and endless recommendations to family and friends. We keep a tight circle in this business. We are here building something positive within the community and for the economy. We will be big enough to put a minimum of 50+ employees to work and keep them busy all year around. Lawn care and landscape and hardscape are not going anywhere anytime soon.

Self Identified Competition
We don't pay to much mind to competition as we have our work and they have there's. Not much stepping on each other's toes out here. But top 3 around town are trugreen,jb landscaping We are not a "big guy" so to say so we can provide immediate service or walk throughs for the client the big guys don't have time for . We love what we do and it shows. A lil piece of us goes into project. We are a father son business and put that family touch along with the project.
