The organization's business plan centers on partnering with local schools to improve transportation access for students, especially those living within two miles of their schools who are currently not provided transportation. By maintaining positive relationships with donors and grant providers, Get On Board Inc. plans to promote its services and host community events. Transparency is a key value for the organization, welcoming donors to observe their operations.

The founder, with over 38 years of experience in the school system, highlights the negative impact of student absences due to transportation issues and safety concerns. A commitment to improving attendance and safety for these students has driven the establishment of this organization. Additionally, recognizing the problem of student hunger, the founder has initiated efforts to provide food access during school hours, collaborating with local store chains to support students in need.

After ten months of market research, the organization has found no competitors in this space, allowing it to focus on proactive strategies rather than reactive ones. Get On Board Inc. believes its unique approach and commitment to safety and community service provide a competitive edge, and ultimately seeks support to create a positive impact for students and the broader community.

Our company aims to cover daily expenses and purchase vans for transporting students. We also strive to assist in food distribution, advertising, and organizing events to attract more donors and spread awareness about our community involvement. Our goal is to improve our community and let people know that we are here to help.

  • Business Plan

Our organization has devised a marketing plan to collaborate with nearby schools to aid students in completing van ride requests. We intend to maintain our rapport with donors and grant providers while promoting our services and hosting events to increase community awareness. We are committed to seeking innovative ideas to expand and engage with our sponsors, and all donors are welcome to observe our operations as we prioritize transparency. I have worked as a School employee for more than 38 years and have witnessed the negative impact of students missing school. Did you know that in Texas, public schools are not obligated to provide transportation to students living within two miles of their school? This leads to situations where students may miss school due to bad weather or lack of transportation. Such absences are detrimental not just for the students, but for their parents, school district, and society at large. While we urge our students to maintain a distance of at least 15 feet from the school bus, students living within two miles do not have the same level of safety and often walk on narrow paths close to traffic. In fact, I once encountered a student who reached out to touch the bus, causing me to scream in fear. This incident made me realize that we need to create a safer way for these students to get to school. So, I retired and started my own company. By doing so, I hope to improve attendance rates, safety, and attitudes, and create a win-win situation for everyone involved. I have already consulted with two principals who share my excitement and understand the importance of safety and attendance. As a teacher at a local high school, I noticed that some students would go hungry for the entire day. Hunger affects the brain's ability to function, and it's difficult for students to concentrate on their studies when they're hungry. I had one particular student who wasn't eating at home, so I started packing food for him every day and gave it to him quietly. The gratitude this student showed was humbling, and it inspired me to do more. I approached the City Health Inspector in my area and started working on a plan to ensure that students have access to food during school hours. We are collaborating with several store chains to make this a reality. Our aim is to support parents, teachers, students, and the community to help our students succeed. We believe that with your help, we can create a better society and a sense of fulfillment in our hearts. So, we ask for your support to fill this need and make a real difference in the lives of our students.

  • Self Identified Competition

Through ten months of research, I have discovered that there are currently no competitors. Nevertheless, it is crucial to keep an eye on the market and be aware of any possible new entrants that may arise. It's wise to be proactive and prepared, rather than reactive. There is ample space for everyone in the market, and by collaborating, we can thrive as a society. We cannot be compared to any other entity, as I am not aware of any competitors. However, we plan to stay abreast of safety courses and regulations to ensure we are up-to-date and better than ever.
