White Lions Kingdom LLC 92-2941585 | Government Grant Application

White Lions Kingdom LLC | Application Preview

White Lions Kingdom LLC is applying for government grants to develop a 2-story apartment building in Evanston, Wyoming, with plans for 35 to 50 housing units, contingent on grant funding. The company owns 4 acres of land, structured in two 2-acre parcels. The funds will primarily cover construction costs, including materials and labor, as well as initial expenses for hiring an engineer to finalize plans for city approval.

Each apartment will range from 950 to 1,050 square feet, offering 2-3 bedroom options with washer and dryer hookups. The design includes 20-25 units with attached garages for elderly or disabled tenants and covered parking for others.

The business plan outlines a single-phase construction project expected to take about 18 months. During this time, they will begin marketing and accepting tenant applications, aiming to reach full occupancy and establish a waitlist. In years 2-3, they plan to acquire additional land to start future housing projects.

The company emphasizes its commitment to providing affordable housing options for vulnerable populations such as seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities, widows, and single parents. They argue that everyone deserves a safe and affordable home and see a significant need for such housing in their community.

  • Funding Usage

I plan to develop a 2-story apartment building, located in Evanston, Wyoming. The total units will be between 35-50, depending on the grant money available for low income housing. I already own the land, which totals 4 acres, split up into two 2 acre parcels. The majority of the grant money will be used for building, material, and labor costs. A portion would initially cover hiring an engineer to draw up the plans and get it approved by the city. Once everything is approved, we plan to begin construction. The grant would be used to fund as much of the construction costs as possible. Each unit will be about 950 to 1,050 square feet, and a variation of 2-3 bedrooms, with washer and dryer hook ups in each unit. I plan to have 20-25 units with an attached garage option for elderly or disabled tenants, and covered parking for the rest of the units.

  • Business Plan

We would like to continue building and expanding our business with low income rentals. Currently, we plan to build the property within a single phase, which is estimated to take about 18 months to complete from the time we begin digging foundations. During that time, we would begin marketing and accepting tenant applications. Upon completion, our goal is to rent at capacity, and maintain a qualified waitlist. Around year 2-3 we plan to acquire more land, and begin planning construction for our next housing project. We believe everybody should have the opportunity to have a place to call home, that they can afford and where they can live comfortably. We are driven entrepreneurs, with a passion for helping others and giving back to society. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to have their basic needs met, with a place to call home being foundational. With having been in the apartment rental business for 3 generations, we have noticed the lack of affordable housing for people on fixed incomes, veterans, people with disabilities, the elderly community, widows, single mothers- anyone in a distressed situation, really. It is disheartening, and we would like to provide an opportunity to provide more housing options for people that may, otherwise, not have the possibility of having a home.
