Topline Grooming 920777638 | Government Grant Application

Topline Grooming | Application Preview

Topline Grooming is seeking government grants to support various aspects of its business, including utilities, marketing, advertising, rent, supplies, and upgrades. The business aims to enhance its brand visibility through increased advertising and the hiring of additional barbers and a marketing team.

The applicant emphasizes the importance of their services to essential workers, such as teachers, police, doctors, and lawyers, highlighting that their work contributes to the maintenance of clients' appearances, thereby positively impacting their daily lives. They argue for a classification as essential workers due to the value they provide to the community.

In discussing competition, Topline Grooming notes that within the hair industry, success is not about competing against each other but about serving the public. They recognize the challenges faced by small businesses and express a desire for mutual support among independent contractors.

The business distinguishes itself by offering unique grooming services beyond typical haircuts, including hot towel shaves, scalp and beard treatments, facials, and ingrown hair extractions. This emphasis on a comprehensive grooming experience sets Topline Grooming apart, making it more than just a place for haircuts.

Doing more advertising to get the brand name of the shop more popular. Hiring more barbers and marketing team I’m a small business that serves the public and we provides good services that meet others needs. We service the people that are essential workers, teachers, police, doctors, lawyers etc. we are workers soho have families with children that have a gift that helps enhance the appearance of others. We should be classified as essential workers because we are important for maintenance and image.

  • Self Identified Competition

I would say that we all want to be busy as work but in the hair industry we are not competing we are all independent contractors we rely on the public to patronize our business. We all understand how hard it can be going to work waiting on clients to come in, we don’t get paid by the our it’s by the client. I’m not competing I want to see small businesses survive. I’m different then other barber shops because we provide grooming services. Such as hot towel shaved, scalp treatments, beard treatments, facials, ingrown hair extractions, shampoo and conditioner etc. at Topline Grroming is Ya more than a haircut it’s an experience.
