ARIEA 51 Creations LLC 85-4293181 | Government Grant Application

ARIEA 51 Creations LLC | Application Preview

ARIEA 51 Creations LLC is seeking government grants to support its growth following significant demand. The business initially operated from a home laundry room but has outgrown this space, necessitating the acquisition of an office, warehouse, or retail location. The funding will also be allocated towards essential equipment, including screen printing setups, embroidery machines, and high-quality vinyl cutters, as well as marketing efforts and education in graphic design and business management for the owners.

Over the next five years, ARIEA 51 aims to transition from an e-commerce business to having physical retail locations primarily in the Atlanta area, while further developing their online presence. Owners are currently enhancing their skills in various marketing and design areas to effectively promote their brand and improve customer engagement. The company plans to reinvest profits to ensure continued growth and development.

The motivation for seeking funding is tied to the personal background of the founder, a veteran coping with PTSD and related challenges. The business serves as a creative outlet and a way to provide for his family while teaching important lessons about resilience and entrepreneurship to their children. The company embraces a motto of "Local Made, Global Vision," aiming to expand from local roots to a broader market with a focus on product quality and customer service.

In terms of competition, ARIEA 51 faces challenges from other clothing companies like 6 Feathers and various e-commerce platforms. However, their commitment to community initiatives, such as donating hoodies to the homeless and supporting military charities, sets them apart. By promoting positive change and community support, ARIEA 51 Creations hopes to build strong connections with customers and establish itself as a brand with a purpose. This funding would enable the company to enhance its marketing and product offerings, ultimately aiming for a more significant impact both locally and globally.

  • Funding Usage

Funding will be used first to procure an office/warehouse/retail location for our business as we have quickly outgrown our operating space. Initially we started this operating in my house after having repurposed my small laundry room into a small print shop, but due to the growth we've experienced, this is no longer a feasible work space. We will next be using funds for a screen printing setup, a direct to garment printing setup, getting heat presses to be able to do clothing and hats, we also need a high quality vinyl cutting machine, an embroidery machine and the computers necessary to run these items. We also will use funding for the promotion and marketing of our business as well, and to also help with the costs of the business and graphic design courses our owners are currently enrolled in doing our best to better ourselves for our business by any means available to us.

  • Business Plan

Over the next 5 years we plan to further develop our online website as it is our primary source for income from online orders. We plan to get a store front most likely in the Atlanta Georgia area. We plan from going from just a strictly E-Commerce based business to having actual retail locations throughout the Georgia area and then branching out from there. Our owners are both currently enrolled in graphic design, marketing and business courses to include learning the likes of graphic design using the Adobe creative suite, learning things such as search engine optimization (SEO), business management, and digital marketing using social media such as Facebook, instagram, twitter, and Pinterest as well as google ads marketing to increase the flow of traffic to our stores and raising overall awareness of our brand. We plan on utilizing the skills we learn in these business courses to grow our brand and grow the abilities of services we are able to provide for our customers. We currently reinvest any profits made from our company back into the business so as to have the most growth possible. Our ultimate goal is to be able to offer both in person and online retail outlets for our customer base within the next 5 years. This company was started by myself a United States Marine Veteran who suffers from PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety to not only be a means of a creative outlet to help with these mental ailments, but as a means to bring about positive change to the world through the abilities of our company. Being a bartender and a server as my primary expertise, and dealing with living a country being ravaged by a global pandemic, I have lost almost all of my primary source of income due to hourly cuts at my job and lowered numbers of patrons being allowed in our establishments due to the pandemic. This forced me to think outside the box and come up with another way to supplement the loss of income. I was able to come up with the idea of this company as an alternative source of income and now I am looking to grow this company as much as I possibly can. I am a single father with two sons ages 9 and 11 who I strive every day to set the best example I can for them. My partner is a single mother who has a 7 year old daughter to set an example for as well. Us opening this company helped us teach them the importance of pursuing your dreams. it also showed them that even in the face of adversity, with the right amount of dedication and hard work, with the proper vision, you can turn an idea into something profitable if you put in the work necessary. This lets us show our children that if they are ever put in a situation where their livelihood is in jeopardy that if they put their minds to it, they create another way to supplement their income with the right type of thinking. Our company motto is "Local Made, Global Vision" and I truly believe with the proper funding we could take what was once a local idea started in the small town of Rome Georgia to a global entity with products from our brand going around the world. But we need the funding necessary for proper marketing, creating quality merchandise, and developing a solid outstanding brand with focuses on excellent customer service and delivering a quality product that always meets or exceeds our customers expectations. Investing in my company would help a United States Military Veteran who sometimes struggles with fitting in in the civilian world to not only have a means to fit in in a place that makes him comfortable, but would give myself and my partner a solid means of income to provide for our children.

  • Self Identified Competition

Being that we are a clothing company one of our biggest competitors is another clothing company in the Atlanta Georgia area called 6 Feathers. Like our company ARIEA 51 Creations, 6 feathers offers premium streetwear as well, but they only take custom orders on a small basis which gives us an advantage over them in that realm. As far as other competitors our competition includes any and all web based clothing stores especially those stores utilizing the Shopify and Etsy platforms as their major selling platform ARIEA 51 Creations is more than just a custom clothing company. We believe in creative thinking through custom clothing. We are dedicated to spreading positivity and bringing about positive change to the world through our brand. One thing we have done this past winter is something called the Share The Warmth project. For every hoodie we sold to a customer, we would take and buy a hoodie from the profits and donate it to the homeless. Typically when we hand out the hoodies we try to bring food and such as well. So far we have been able to feed and provide hoodies for almost 40 people since we have started. We could have kept the profit for ourselves, but instead we utilized it to provide food and warmth for people who might not have had any access to those things without our help. We are trying to bring positives to our community and the world around us by any means that we possibly can. We plan on doing a military themed collection of clothing in which we will be donating to the Wounded Warrior Project also. We want to be known as a brand that not only looks out for its customers but looks out for the community in general as best as we can. We feel that helping to bring about love, positivity and change to the world through gives us the best means to truly connect with our customer base.
