Loved Infinitely 604 921 892 | Government Grant Application

Loved Infinitely | Application Preview

Loved Infinitely is seeking government grant funding to enhance its baby clothing brand by maintaining and expanding pay-per-click (PPC) advertising on Amazon. The additional funding would allow for increased daily advertising budgets, which are crucial for driving sales and garnering product reviews. These reviews are essential for building consumer trust and, consequently, boosting sales further. Currently, the company has approximately 2,700 units stored in Amazon warehouses, incurring ongoing storage and other fees that the grant would help cover. The revenue from this inventory is vital for launching additional products that have been designed but not yet introduced due to financial constraints.

The business owner, a 27-year-old Muslim Jordanian-Palestinian-American woman, shifted from a career in chemical engineering to entrepreneurship after giving birth to her first son. Balancing work and family life became challenging, prompting her to create a baby clothing line that allows her to be present for her children while generating income. With her husband's engineering salary as the sole income, she faces financial limitations, especially in supporting their family of four and managing her second child's medical expenses related to a congenital condition.

Loved Infinitely's business model focuses on Amazon sales for the next two years to build brand recognition, customer engagement, and an email list in preparation for launching a dedicated website. The aim is to eventually hire staff and establish a warehouse for the business.

In a competitive landscape that includes brands like Burt's Bees, Colored Organics, and Carter's, Loved Infinitely aims to carve out its niche with high-quality, gender-neutral pajamas made from 100% organic cotton. Unique features such as a 2-way zipper, protective zipper guard, and built-in footies set the product apart from competitors. The founder's experience as a mother informs her understanding of market gaps, allowing her to design pajamas that cater to real consumer needs while demonstrating the potential for financial growth and scalability. The grant would be a critical resource for marketing initiatives and operational costs, enabling Loved Infinitely to reach its goals and secure a sustainable future for her family.

  • Funding Usage

If awarded the grant I would use the money to continue running PPC Ad campaigns on Amazon. Increasing my daily budget for these Ad campaigns will help increase my sales. Increasing my sales means I will increase my product reviews. The more reviews my product/brand gets the more people start trusting it and buying from it. I have close to 2700 pieces of my product in different Amazon warehouses and I'm paying storage fees and other Amazon fees as well. The grant would help me also pay for these fees. The revenue from selling all of this inventory will help me launch all the products that I have designed but can't launch due to the lack of financial support. I know my business can succeed and grow and become my family's main income and it will help me support my kids throughout life. I have invested time and money in my business all for my kids' sake, this is my way of investing for their own future. I hope that one day they will be able to learn from it and benefit from it in the long run. I dream of it being the business that will set our family's generational wealth, God willing.

  • Business Plan

My business is now located on Amazon. The goal is to sell there for two full years while increasing my Brand awareness and sales and building a client email list that I can use once I launch my own website and start selling the products that I have already designed but don't have the budget to launch. By the time I launch my website, I will be ready to hire customer support employees, pay my kids and other kids to model the products and have my own warehouse. I'm a 27-year-old Muslim Jordanian-Palestinian-American woman. I moved to the US from Jordan 10 years ago to be with my husband. I'm a mom of two boys. I studied chemical engineering and I worked in my field for three years on the biggest waste-water treatment plant in the world based in Washington state. I quit my chemical engineering Job in September of 2022 when my son turned a year old because I wasn't able to focus on working remotely from home with no support system and being with my son and giving him all the attention, he needs from me. On March 2022, I started working on my business idea and now a year later, I finally launched my business on Amazon. I'm hoping one day I'll have my own website but for now, I want to run my business as an Amazon seller. I worked for a full year after having my firstborn. While I worked remotely to stay with my boy at all times, getting work done was becoming more and more challenging. So I decided to start my own business/ baby clothing brand and start selling on Amazon. I wanted to give my boy all of my attention and start a business that could help me still bring an income to support my family while still being with him instead of sending him to daycare at a very young age. My husband is also an engineer and we both worked on the same Hanford project. After quitting my job to become a stay-at-home mom and a business owner, my husband's income became our only source of income. Unfortunately, it is not enough to support a family of four while also supporting my business financially. /he also supports his retired parents financially. So one income can only get us so far. My engineering income was our only source of savings. I want my business to continue to grow and bring me and my family an income. My boys inspired my business to start and I hope that one day it brings me enough income to always support them in life. My second boy was born with a Cleft lip and palate and will require 4 surgeries in his first year of life and having to rely on one income to pay for the medical bills is not easy. I know my business can bring us good revenue if funded correctly for marketing and paying the Amazon fees. My business is now located on Amazon. By the time I launch my website, I will be ready to hire customer support employees, pay my kids and other kids to model the products, and have my own warehouse. Being a mother who started a baby clothing brand after actually having my first baby, helped me understand the baby clothing market and the features missing in baby pajamas. The different pajamas on the market lack the features I incorporated in my product. My baby clothing brand demonstrates consumer interest and promises financial projection and scalability. The prints that I have designed are very on-trend, and unique and have high growth potential for my business. I have so far designed multiple gender-neutral pajamas which fit the new trends. My biggest challenge right now is having enough funding to support the business and my marketing plan. Marketing is simply expensive and I would appreciate the help some grants would do for my business to continue being a possibility for me and my family so one day it can support us fully. Since I wasn't able to continue working as an engineer and have my income support the business until it's profitable, getting a grant would support the business by helping me pay for all of the Amazon fees, storage fees, and marketing costs.

  • Self Identified Competition

I consider the following brands my competitors: 1) Burt's bee 2) Colored Organics 3) Carters My product is a Gender Neutral Sleep and Play Pajama, made of 100% Organic Cotton, designed loose fit to allow for plenty of wiggle room. Designed with 2-Way Zipper - Zips at both ends, perfect for changing baby’s diapers. Diagonal zip front for easy dressing and diaper changes & protective zipper guard to protect your baby's skin. Featuring built-in footies to keep baby warm, elastic ankles to keep footies in place, and non-slip grips for extra stability on all sizes. Fold-over mittens in sizes NB to 12M. The majority of baby's sleep and play pajamas don't have all of these features combined in one product but mine does. My product is very well made and has gender-neutral colors that are very on trend with other top sellers in the same category.
