Lawn & Pools LLC 86-1182732 | Government Grant Application

Lawn & Pools LLC | Application Preview

Lawn & Pools LLC is seeking government grants to support its growth and operational improvements. The requested funding will cover several key expenses: $2,400 for revamping truck suspension to handle heavier loads, $800 for adding a fuel tank to the trailer for mowers, $3,000 for purchasing a new deck mower, $2,200 for office equipment and supplies, and $1,600 for a year’s rent on office space.

The business anticipates a growth rate of 4.3% from 2020 to 2025, despite projecting a $4,000 loss in its first year. The enhancements to the truck and trailer will allow the business to take on more clients simultaneously, increasing cash flow and enabling the hiring of additional staff. The objective is to have three crews by 2024, consisting of a licensed driver and two helpers each, totaling 11 employees. The long-term vision includes securing contracts for lawn and pool care services from local subdivisions, apartments, refineries, and hotels, with plans to expand operations to a second office by 2026.

The owner emphasizes a commitment to perfection in lawn and pool maintenance, stemming from a military background that values efficiency and hard work. There are notable competitors in the area, including Dirty Deeds Lawn & Landscaping Service, Silsbee Lawn Care, and Southeast Texas Lawn Care & Landscaping. However, Lawn & Pools LLC believes its attention to detail and dedication to customer service will allow it to win contracts from these competitors.

Overall, the business aims to differentiate itself through a strong work ethic, thoroughness, and a focus on building solid relationships with clients, ultimately striving for excellence in its service offerings.

  • Business Plan

The lawn care business is projected to grow 4.3% from 2020-2025. I understand my projected first year is going to be a loss of $4000 for the year. Once truck and trailer modifications are done we can add more lawns to our work load, thus increasing cash flow. Furthermore, abeling us to hire more workers to provide lawn care at multiple sites. Rather than just one lawn at a time. After 3 years (2024) I want to have 3 full crews (licensed driver, and 2 helpers). Totaling the company to 11 employees. With 3 crews working I plan to attain contracts with local subdivisions/apartments/refineries/hotels for pool care as well as their lawns. By 2026 I plan for us to have split and have another office out of Memorial city area in Houston for new subdivision sites that are projected to be built. As a Marine I didn’t allow anything to be mediocre or allow corners and shortcuts to be taken. Owning this business I expect nothing slight of perfection when it comes to lawn care and pool upkeep. We work with quickly, safely and efficiently. Many know there is no drive to succeed like there is of a veterans. I seek to employ veterans because I know it’s not easy to adjust back to a civilian life. Here at Lawn & Pools LLC we take pride in our work!
