KJ's Signing Services LLC | Application Preview
KJ's Signing Services LLC is applying for government grants to set up a home office, which will include a desk, chair, shelving, a laptop, a printer, a scanner, a portable printer and scanner for mobile capabilities, and general office supplies. The business plan focuses on developing strong relationships with title and mortgage companies to create ongoing job opportunities, supplementing current income from Social Security.
The applicant highlights their experience as a Notary Public and Notary Signing Agent, emphasizing a strong work ethic, reliability, and the demand for their services. Due to an increase in competition among Notaries in Palm Beach County, which has led to reduced fees, the applicant aims to establish themselves with key industry players to secure better compensation for their work.
With over 800 loan closings completed in the past two years, they believe their experience gives them a competitive edge and are determined to expand their business further, as both they and their husband rely on Social Security income, which has become increasingly difficult to live on. The grant funding would be essential for setting up the necessary infrastructure to achieve these goals.

Business Plan
Connect with title companies and mortgage companies to secure ongoing relationships for more full time opportunities to supplement our current Social Security Income. I do excellent work as a Notary Public and Notary Signing Agent for the few companies I have established work with. I'm hard working and dependable and there's a need for someone like me in this line of work.

Self Identified Competition
My competitors are other Notarys in Palm Beach County. Unfortunately, there was an influx of Notarys which caused so many opportunities to result in half the fees offered. I want to establish myself with the title and mortgage companies to secure reasonable fees and have a direct and reasonable income to support myself and my husband as we are both collecting Social Security Income which is getting harder to maintain any lifestyle on that income alone. I do excellent work; I have completed over 800 loan closings in the last 2 years and I'm determined to grow my business.
