Rising Tide Organix | Application Preview
Rising Tide Organix is applying for government grants to enhance their business operations. They aim to use the funding to acquire a reliable used vehicle for local deliveries and a mobile kitchen trailer, which will enable them to expand their service area from northern Arizona to Phoenix.
The company's business plan focuses on leveraging the internet for brand promotion and reaching a broader audience in the Phoenix and Scottsdale markets. This expansion would facilitate hiring additional staff and setting up physical stores. Their five-year vision includes establishing two locations, one in Sedona and another in Phoenix.
The rationale for approving the funding centers on the untapped market for sea moss in northern Arizona and the overall potential of the health food sector. Rising Tide Organix believes that, with the right resources and marketing strategy, they could grow from local farmer's markets to major grocery chains within two years. They highlight the increasing popularity of sea moss, particularly within Caribbean cuisine, and see this as an opportune moment to lead the culinary trend.
In terms of competition, most rivals are based in California, with only a few local producers at a lower scale. The competitive advantage of Rising Tide Organix stems from the extensive experience of its founder, a professional chef with nearly 20 years in top Arizona restaurants and resorts. This expertise is expected to translate into superior-tasting, nutrient-rich sea moss products that stand out in the market.

Business Plan
By using the internet to get our brand out to the masses and then expanding into the Phoenix and Scottsdale area would allow me hire more staff and eventually build a brick and mortar store where we could become localized. Five year goal would include two stores... one in Sedona and one in Phoenix Currently, sea moss is a untapped market in northern Arizona, if not all of Arizona. The health food market is so huge right now, that I believe with the right funding and proper marketing we could grow this business from local farmer's markets to national grocery store chains in a matter of 2 years. Sea moss is growing in popularity, especially with Caribbean cuisine and I believe right now is a great time to get out ahead of the culinary trend and lead the way.

Self Identified Competition
Most of my competitors are in California. There may be a few locals making sea moss, but nothing at my level. I have been a professional chef for almost 20 years and I have ran some of Arizona's top restaurants and resorts. I believe with my talent for cooking my sea moss gels and smoothies with be better tasting, pack more nutrients and better marketed than the competition.
