LAG Life's A Gamble Entertainment | Application Preview
LAG Life's A Gamble Entertainment is seeking government grants primarily to establish its own studio and event space, reducing reliance on rented venues. The funds will also support artists on concert tours, aiming to generate revenue.
The business plan includes transforming LAG into a 501c3 nonprofit organization, which will allow for greater community contributions. The intent is for artists to retain full ownership of their music while benefiting from partnerships and grants that enhance both individual and brand growth. National tours are a key aspect, as they facilitate revenue generation for both artists and the community.
Investors are encouraged to support LAG because it is the first nonprofit entertainment label focused on community enrichment, ensuring artists keep 100% of their music rights and royalties. The brand aims to create positive community impacts while building its own reputation, thus attracting sponsorships and licensing deals.
In terms of competition, LAG faces established labels like Sony and Bad Boy that prioritize profit, often at the expense of artist ownership and community focus. LAG distinguishes itself by prioritizing client success and community investment over immediate profits, making it a unique player in the industry. This approach opens avenues for artists to engage in various entertainment sectors, all while funneling generated revenue back into community initiatives.

Business Plan
The goal is to make LAG into a 501c3 entertainment company so we can give more back to the community. We want our artist to be signed with us, but they own all their music and through grants and sponsorships we are able to give them licensing and partnership deals that overall help build LAG into a bigger brand. We want to be able to send our artist on national tours to not only generate revenue for them, the company, and put money back into the community. The reason investors should invest in LAG Life’s A Gamble Entertainment because we are not only the first, but we are the only label that wants to be a nonprofit organization. We want to have more money going back into the communities and allow for our artist to keep 100% of their music ownership and royalties. while we are pushing the artist, they are pushing our brand in our message. This will allow for bigger and better opportunities for sponsorships, partnerships, as well as licensing deals with the top 100 companies.

Self Identified Competition
Our biggest competitors would be existing labels such as Sony, Bad Boy, and CMG who already have a brand-name for themselves. They already have the top A-list celebrities an artist, but those labels focus on the revenue there generating for themselves, and we are focusing on the brand image of the community and positivity, as well as maximizing profits for our artist. A lot of companies and brands will not buy into the idea of a nonprofit label because they will not be high margins for revenue in the beginning stages. The biggest difference with what we are doing, and what other music labels and entertainment companies is they are focusing on the entertainment aspect as a priority and focusing on the money their artist bring in for them. Our goal is to focus on what we can make our clients and how we can push our clients to do different things in entertainment, such as acting, music, theater, drama performing arts, while they are pushing our brand so that we can receive more sponsorships and nonprofit donations. This way the revenue generated from the concerts and shows we put on all go back into the community.
