When I decided to start my daycare center, my inspiration stemmed from a deep passion for early childhood education and a strong desire to provide a nurturing and educational environment for children in our community. My own experiences, along with the joy of watching children learn and grow, have been the driving forces behind the establishment of my daycare center. This will bring an abundance of diverse clients, families, and children. • Educational Programs: Rosie’s Kidz Christian Academy School will be the only daycare center that offers preschool accreditation, peer and teacher assignments and an owner that has a master’s degree in education. It will also include exceptional educators, founded on the word of God, along with educators & staff that are committed and highly qualified. Their goal is to provide engaging and innovative developmentally appropriate lessons to all children no matter their academic level of knowledge. • Healthy Snacks: Our center is connected to an organization with a meal program called Better Childcare, which is funded by the State Board of Education. The board instructs providers on how to meet the USDA standards for providing meals to children in their care, while keeping us up to date with new nutrition and federal compliance. We provide meals that are healthy, nutritional, and sustaining for each child. We have menus available, and we will serve each child two hot meals and a snack or two snacks and a hot meal. The combination of three meals a child receives will depend upon the hours of care, but each child will receive three meals daily. • Convenience (Hours of operation): Our days and times of operation accommodate the diverse schedules and needs of all families. Tina Branch-Williams has over 20 years of experience in the profession of childcare and early childhood education. She holds two degrees in education, one being an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and a master’s degree in education. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Tina has over 10 years of experience as an in-home licensed daycare, and she has also provided assistance with the opening and continued development of several well-known education centers in the metro east area. • Stanley Williams has over ten years of experience in the profession of childcare. He has also assisted with the opening and continued development of a phenomenally successful licensed home-based center. Stan has an additional 15 years of experience with School District 189 as a security officer and assistant soft-ball coach. He is well rounded with the development of the whole child and safety measures for our center. • Temekia Coleman has thirteen years of experience in the profession of education in the department of truancy. She works firsthand with families to find resources, strategies, and research to ensure the needs of the whole family are met. This will ensure that the educational need of each child is also successfully met. • Lakendria Heard holds a degree in Public Health and has ten years of experience in the profession of childcare. She has successfully assisted with the opening and continued development of a phenomenally successful licensed home-based center in the metro east area where she serves as Lead Teacher and Assistant Director. • Kiyo Cade Jr. has over ten years of experience in the profession of childcare. He has assisted with the opening and continued development of a very phenomenally successful licensed home-based center in the metro east area. He also has two years of experience with working directly with families in the surrounding areas assisting them with finding homes. He will serve as a Teacher Assistant and Officer Manager. • Travion Ellis has over ten years of experience in the profession of childcare. Travion has helped with the opening and continued development of phenomenally successful licensed home-based center in the metro east area. He has worked directly with children by tutoring them after school. Travion also holds a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License), which allows him to drive and transport families to and from the center. • Angela Branch has firsthand knowledge of office management and finances.
