Rustic Gardens, LLC 001003363 | Government Grant Application

Rustic Gardens, LLC | Application Preview

Rustic Gardens, LLC is seeking government grants to expand its event center and construct ten cabins for hosting special events and retreats. The funding will enhance facilities by adding restrooms, quarters for brides and grooms, and a climate-controlled office, aiming to attract high-end couples and allow for year-round operations. The company estimates the renovated space could accommodate up to 120 events annually, generating potential profits of around $1.44 million.

The flower farm will support couples looking for local floral arrangements, with flower sales primarily at Nashville Farmer’s Markets, currently earning approximately $2,000 weekly. To enhance marketing, a renovated horse trailer will serve as a decorated booth and can be rented out for private events, contributing an additional $320,000 annually. Floral workshops on the farm are also planned, aimed at generating $84,000 each year.

The company plans to build cabins, expecting to achieve a $1 million revenue stream from rentals. Owners of the land have a proven track record with profitable ventures, including a successful Airbnb for corporate rentals.

In a competitive landscape, Rustic Gardens differentiates itself by providing local flowers, closer proximity to Nashville, and unique overnight accommodations. Compared to established venues like Drakewood Farm, Fly Farm, and Magnolia Farm, Rustic Gardens aims to attract customers with its distinctive offerings and improved event solutions.

Drakewood Farm is a beautiful historic all inclusive venue just 15 minutes from downtown Nashville that offers full service weddings, micro weddings, and elopements. They sit on 40 acres of rolling farmland that houses an 1850s mansion, stone cottage, three barns, a 4,000 sq ft climate-controlled reception space, and two ceremony spaces. We differ from Drakewood by offering local flowers to style their events, cabins for overnight stays. The Fly Farm at Big Rock Creek is a rustic wedding venue located in the charming town of Verona, TN. Nestled on 155 acres of beautiful Tennessee farmland, this family-owned venue offers wildflower and sunflower fields, two streams, a renovated barn, and a picturesque hayfield. The owner has 14 years of experience as a floral designer, and the staff are also well-versed in the wedding industry. They'd love to welcome you to their property for the countryside wedding of your dreams. The Fly Farm is located 60 miles outside of Nashville. While we both have floral services, our closer location would likely be more attractive to prospective clients. Magnolia Farm is located on 40 acres of rolling hills, providing guests with scenic views around every corner. The venue can accommodate up to 175 guests with three different outdoor ceremony options. Multiple reception settings on the property allow our clients to choose how their ideal space is set up. The team at Magnolia Farm has three different wedding packages available so that every couple can find the perfect fit for them. With the full wedding package, the venue offers overnight accommodations for up to 16 guests. Perfect for photographs, historic structures are located across and throughout the property. These include a vintage tobacco barn, horse stables, and an authentic carriage house. A hilltop, historic log house on the property makes this one of the few venues in the greater Nashville area that is able to offer clients on-site, overnight accommodations. The property's buildings are climate-controlled, which means you have no limitations when considering the perfect wedding date. Our wedding venue differs in both the location and the prospect of being able to provide local flowers.
