Bugis | Application Preview
Bugis is seeking government grants to support its restaurant business, focusing on expenses like rent, utilities, and food development. The owner's vision for the restaurant was shaped by experiences during the pandemic, leading to a belief that high-quality food can be enjoyed without in-person dining. With an eye toward the future of delivery dining, they plan to enhance their offerings by introducing meal kits that reflect restaurant-quality food.
The owner recounts the initial challenges faced when the restaurant opened, with only $250 in sales at first. Through perseverance and strategic outreach, sales quickly rose to an average of $2,500 within two months, despite the challenge of attracting customers in a university area that relies on student patronage.
Bugis stands out in a competitive market as a leading spot for Korean fusion cuisine. The owner boasts certifications in Korean and Chinese cuisine and specializes in Japanese sushi, aiming to craft unique Asian dishes that emphasize their individual style rather than the typical flavors of traditional Asian food. The grant funding would significantly enhance the restaurant's ability to thrive and innovate within the industry.

Business Plan
I felt a lot because of pandemic The restaurant was an opportunity to change my belief that all I need to eat was delicious food. Uncontact era will come in the future. Anyone who delivers without visiting a restaurant should develop better quality delivery foods such as those eaten in a restaurant, and the rotation of the food will be increased by launching meal kit products. I still remember. When we first opened the restaurant, there was only $250 in sales. Customers didn't even know that this place was a restaurant without any advertising, but sales in less than two months averaged more than $2,500. I have never doubted my ability. However, due to the geographical nature of universities, it is not easy to overcome this situation unless students return.

Self Identified Competition
Currently, my restaurant is the most popular place to sell Korean fusion here. I have korean , Chinese food certification and especially master of Japanese sushi skill. Now, i make and sell food related to Korean food. Originally, my plan was to sell all Asian foods, not Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. I want to make Asian food with my own color, not Asian food that everyone knows. My own food that you can eat only when you come to my restaurant.
