Sacred Hands | Application Preview
Sacred Hands is applying for government grants to support various operational needs, including advertising, office lease expenses, and legal services. With two decades of experience in the industry, the business aims to expand by introducing a new focus on Sports Medicine Acupuncture, a niche that has potential for growth.
The business plan emphasizes referral-based advertising and networking to establish connections with Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Doctors, and Gym Trainers. This new approach is anticipated to enhance the effectiveness of rehabilitation and pain management for sports and general injuries. Sacred Hands will also integrate aspects of Yoga and Meditation into its offerings, leveraging the owner's experience in those fields to meet growing demand.
The funding request is justified by the rapid growth of acupuncture over the past twenty years, particularly in the emerging field of Sports Medicine Acupuncture. This specialty is recognized for its ability to assist in injury recovery and pain management, promising benefits for a wide range of patients. The combination of 17 years in Yoga and Meditation enhances the appeal and therapeutic options available.
In terms of competition, Sacred Hands identifies its primary competitors as Sports Medicine Doctors, traditional acupuncturists, and Surgeons. However, the application highlights a cooperative approach, suggesting that collaboration with these professionals can be more beneficial than direct competition.
The competitive edge lies in the advanced training required for Sports Medicine Acupuncture, which necessitates an acupuncture license and encompasses specialized techniques, such as Myofascial release and postural realignment. Many patients seek services to avoid surgery, reinforcing the business’s appeal within the healthcare and wellness sectors.

This Specialty is new in Acupuncture and very helpful to work with Chiropractors, Physical Therapist, Doctors, and Gym Trainers. i also have 1 years of experience and education on the Arts of Yoga and Meditation and plan to expand that part of the business. Due to the fact that not only has Acupuncture grown exponentially in the past 20 years, but also due to the fact Sports Medicine Acupuncture is a new cutting edge field in helping and rehabilitating not only Sports Injuries but pain management and regular injuries of any patient. 17 Years of experience of Yoga and Meditation will help expand my business as many have requested it and that field is greatly expanding as well./ m

Self Identified Competition
Top 3 competitors are Sports Medicine Doctors, other regular acupuncturists, Surgeons. But in reality I would not consider them competitors because I also can work with all them in collaboration. They really cannot perform the treatments that I can. And I cannot with what the provide. So a collaboration. Sports Medicine Acupuncture is a Masters Program that in order to take it you must have an acupuncture license. The use of needles, Myofascial release, and postural alignment and rebalancing is thorough enough to rehabilitate a patient. Most patients see me to avoid surgery and prevent surgery for the future.
