Mingo Auto Parts, Inc Mingo Auto Parts, Inc | Government Grant Application

Mingo Auto Parts, Inc | Application Preview

Mingo Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking government grants to support payroll and inventory needs as part of their business strategy for 2024. The plan includes increasing advertising efforts, hiring an additional outside sales representative, and making repairs and improvements to the building and parking lot to attract more walk-in customers.

The business emphasizes the importance of any financial assistance to help maintain operations, serve the community, and ensure employee compensation. Mingo Auto Parts faces significant competition from major chains like NAPA Auto Parts, Auto Zone, and Advance Auto, all located within a few miles.

However, Mingo Auto Parts differentiates itself by cultivating a close-knit relationship with its clientele, fostering a welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of traditional family-owned stores. The diverse inventory packed into the store adds to its charm and appeals to local customers.

  • Business Plan

I plan on advertising more in 2024. Hire another outside sales person and to do some repairs and maintenance to the building and parking lot to bring in more walk-in customers. Because I believe any little bit of help I can get to move ahead and stay ahead of the game to remain in business to serve the community and to pay my employees is a very good thing.

  • Self Identified Competition

My top three competitors are NAPA Auto Parts, Auto Zone and Advance Auto. They are in Steubenville, Ohio which is about 3 miles north of us. South of us, down river, we have part stores in Bridgeport, Ohio and west of us, in Wintersville, Ohio. There is a lot of competition in the auto parts industry. My parts store is different because we are more like the old mom & pop's parts store. I have a very close clientele which consists of friends and family and people in the community. We stock a lot of items shoved in this small store and people enjoy coming and shopping here.
